River Cleanup for the Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service

Help Potomac Conservancy honor Dr King’s legacy of service by cleaning up our hometown river.
January is the BEST time to prevent litter from entering our waterways for many reasons, but here are a few of our favorites:
-It helps us keep our New Year’s resolution to give back.
-Less vegetation = easier access to the banks where trash collects.
-It’s a great excuse to try out our winter gear.
-Greater ability to spot small trash items that have a huge impact on wildlife.
